ABOUT ANTHONY

Having been brought up on a farm, I am no stranger to hard work and perseverance in the face of adversity. So, being around farm equipment and animals, it makes perfect sense that my dream was to be an actor, right?? 
My exposure to the theatrics stemmed from my early childhood. Putting on shows and performances for my family regarding animals learning important life lessons helped encourage me to pursue acting further. 
A turning point for me occurred in High School English Class (I know, right??). For whatever reason, we were given an exercise where we had to act out a certain assignment. I was conflicted. While I loved to perform, it had only been for family. Performing in front of my classmates was another matter, entirely. However, as soon as I stepped to the front of the room and ran the scene, I knew, in the depths of my heart and soul, that acting was what I wanted to do with my life.
I began to get involved with One Acts and Musicals through the rest of High School. However, I lent my talents behind the scenes doing spotlight and sound board operations. It wasn't until my first year of college that I began to take to the stage with several One Act performances and Main Stage Plays. With each show and with each performance, I was reaffirmed in my belief that this was where I was destined to be. 
After graduating, I relocated to Sioux Falls, SD where I dove straight into the theatrical scene. At first, I began with what I knew: Stage Acting. I ran with a Theater Company for several shows before I discovered the Film scene in the area. Since then, I've become involved with several film projects, both short films and feature films. 
Of particular noteworthiness, a feature film known as "Valentine Crush," written by Leah Simmons and Directed by Jamie Wede, was filmed in and around the Sioux Falls area. I was given the privilege and honor of Starring as a lead in the film as Beau. 
I have traveled far and wide seeking any and every opportunity that I can, including places such as Omaha, NE and Minneapolis, MN. I have, also, dabbled in Voice Acting and have been involved with several animated projects. If you wish to know more, don't hesitate to contact me with questions!
